I don't understand how some people who preach for freedom can have such strong drive to still control the way others live their lives. I can see how someone can be pro-life even though I am pro-choice, but how can someone not allow someone else to get married? It's already hard enough to find love and to have it reciprocated, but now you have to worry whether your own government will recognize it, too? This is ridiculous.
A civil union is not the same as a marriage and if you were to say that it is then why don't we get rid of marriage all together? So in less than 90 days, we will find out the real result of Prop.8. If you missed the oral argument from 3/5/09, you can watch it on
